This thing is AMAZING! Very well made and durable. We went grocery shopping, brought everything to the beach including a cooler, with our sunbeds with backs. My friend used them to ride around her adult dog, which has three legs. He loves to. He likes to feel the wind in his hair again. They are great for senior dogs or dogs with health issues. Our bike trailer is 3 years old and still running. It would be nice to have the front wheel on it when using it as a sidecar not attached to the bike to push, but if the front wheel could spin it would be nice. It's fixed. It wasn't really a problem for us, but if you pushed the kids a lot with it, I think so. If they offered to buy a front wheel that turns, that would be cool. We would buy one if they did. We mainly use it for shipping and grocery shopping. We also have some serious long steel cable and a fancy lock to keep him and our bike safe or try to get another person to guard it at other grocery stores. So far, so good. No regret.
