My camera started but shortly after I plugged it in it restarted, most likely due to a voltage drop with the wrong cable length. The camera works fine with the OEM cable and power supply, so I know the cable is bad. I only tested with WyzeCam v1, not sure if this differs from other models. I'm sending it back and buying a 15" cable instead.
