Review on 🎧 V-MODA Crossfade 2 Wireless Over-Ear Headphones, Rose Gold: Exceptional Audio Quality with Stylish Rose Gold Design by Jimmy Scaturro

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Big upgrade, but is it worth it?

I've been using the aptX V-MODA C2W Rose Gold version for about a month now so it seems right to give a review now. I will try to keep my review short but thorough. Previous headphones I have used in the past are: Plantronics GameCom 780, Steelseries Siberia V2, Sennheiser HD201, V-MODA LP2 with XL pads. Question: What is the difference in sound. Quality vs. LP2?A: LP2 has boomy bass and is very dirty. Mids and highs were badly affected. However, C2W has noticeably better mids and highs. The bass might seem a bit weak for some bassheads, but for me they're still strong, but tight and controlled. This results in a much cleaner sound as the upper frequencies aren't affected as much. Q: What about the comfort difference between them? in comfort. The pads were almost the same size and the soft feel was better on the C2W. The downside is that the C2W's weight makes these headphones a bit uncomfortable. For me it's still pretty handy for long listening sessions. Q: How is Bluetooth different from a wired connection? The volume is a bit quiet at first, but can be increased separately via the keys at higher volumes. When using it on the PC, there is sometimes a very slight hissing noise, but at least that doesn't bother me. I've also noticed that SQ suffers slightly when using Bluetooth. You noticeably lose some detail at low and high frequencies. To be honest, the sound between the two was almost identical, but I still prefer some wired audio when I'm not outdoors and not moving. The only thing I don't like is the Bluetooth connection's on and off sound as it's a bit loud. However, despite good Bluetooth range, the battery life was disappointing as it never reached the 14+ claimed by V-MODA. Feels like a little under 11 hours. However, keep in mind that I'm playing with MP3 320 kbs and FLAC on Neutron at medium volume. Yes, and the microphone sounds good on calls. Q: Overall, is it worth switching from V-MODA LP2? Oh yeah. Q: Is it worth it? current price but discounted it might be. I hope you found my review helpful! As for me, I will now return to VA-11 HALL-A. My ears need another quick fix.
