I bought these shoes because I have a back injury and needed a comfortable shoe that was easy to put on and had enough cushioning to be comfortable and provide some cushioning. Velcro fasteners make it easy to put on and take off. CONS: The cushioning sole seems to have broken in a bit after wearing them for a while - they're still comfortable, but not as much as when you first bought them. And the white sole is difficult to clean.
