This was purchased for my 4yo birthday. She had asked for a robot that she could play with. Many models out there are just too complicated for this age group. This was such fun for her! she was able to command the robot and play along with it when it did silly songs. It is also funny as it tries to get your childs attention by asking htem to play with them, or saying it is lonely, which I think helps teach inclusiveness somewhat. Whenever it is out, she plays until the battery dies. The eyes help you know when the unit is fully charged which is helpful in the whirlwind of life with little children. The only negatives that I have are the robot tens to fall over when it encounters carpet, which is not bad just disappointing. Additionally, I wish the demo button was able to be shut off. Its just a button that can be pressed often which can be annoying.
