My daughter asked me if I could get her a case for her 2017 13" Macbook Pro. During her studies she moved a lot with her laptop and was worried about scratching it (which she already has).Browsing through some of the products available and reading reviews I finally settled on Finty's matte finish.My daughter was happy - she wanted the gold one but she was glad I got the matte.The case comes in 2 parts - the base and the top, both of which just snap in place.The only thing that bothered me was that the top part kind of slips when you open and close the laptop lid - she's been using it for several days and says it hasn't shown any sign of slipping. Also, the bottom part has raised rubber feet to keep it from slipping and to ventilate the laptop. Overall a very good SE purchase and highly recommended.
