I'm learning to bake bread and I'm sick of my bread getting old after a day so I read that I should buy a bread box. It had the best reviews and although some people did claim to have problems with enamel/plating I decided to take a chance. Unfortunately the lid is a bit crumpled on one of the corners and there are defects in the enamel. For the amount you are paying for this bread bin, you would want better quality. As the saying goes, I literally just baked a loaf when it arrived and I had to use it right away. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it keeps my bread fresh. Full disclosure, I also bought bread bags so I put the bread in the bread bag and then in this mold. It's lost the external crunch, but we're on day 3 and it's not fully dated, which is nice. The tin looks great on my counter and nobody but me will notice the imperfections. 3 stars for the dent, flaws and high cost but this is a good tin for those who bake their own bread. It looks like you're taking a risk with any of these types of doses, no matter what.
