Although this gauge is very cheap it was a waste of time and money.
A cheap Chinese meter was sporadic and totally inaccurate. I connected it to a 12.8V DC car battery. The meter started reading 12 VDC and stopped increasing the voltage above 16 VDC. I ended up buying a battery gauge for the Pro Charging System. This "Made in the USA" sensor is accurate and constantly monitors my batteries. Almost no electricity is consumed. I ended up installing more of these gauges on my lawn mower, a small forklift, and a dual reading gauge on my trailer. From my kitchen I can control all the battery meters in my garage as the meters are Bluetooth.
