Their reflectors tilt in all directions and can be mounted (or quickly repositioned) so that the rectangular shape is vertical or horizontal. The power switch on the cord is located next to the instrument and is an easy-to-use rocker switch. The connectors are a bit light but for basic use as I expected the set is ideal.
