Works on 2007 Toyota RAV4. My old key buttons are worn out so I called the dealer and they said I had to order a new key which is $190 plus $100 to program. So I called my brother and he said I can just buy a used key and he will program it for me because he is a mechanic and has dealer gear or I can just buy a shell and use the old key chip in a new blank. I ordered this key thinking that I would be disappointed and that the quality of the ether key or the plastic would be poor, but I was surprised that it was actually good. The metal of the key is about the same quality as the original key and the plastic is good. It only took me 2 minutes to remove this removed chip and put it in the new one. Then I went to the store and cut a $3 key and everything worked great. I only paid $10 when the dealer told me it was $190 plus tax just for the key. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the buttons could be better but it would probably be a bit more expensive but I would agree with that science you'll still save more money. Good product
