I have given it five stars based on its overall score on my health. It definitely works, although I haven't learned enough to understand how it works. We experienced very strong mold infestation throughout the house. After fixing the source and two repairs, including throwing away all soiled furniture and clothing, I used this in the mist (not the one sold by EC3). It has immediate benefits in removing odors and knocking down spores, which I track down after a few hours with a vacuum (requires a Hepa-Vac or externally-vented central vacuum). I have been suffering from nasal congestion due to mold for 6 weeks. I've found that if I sweat with it without using a shield as it's not needed, my nose and sinuses clear up within minutes. It is not a solution per se, but for use during and after cleansing. The process I use is: 1. Stop the source of the mold, 2. Fix it 3. Discard the material - when in doubt, discard. If there is something that is not too dirty, you can try a cleaner or mist with this product. 4. clean, clean, clean. You don't need fancy disinfectants; You just have to clean everything up. Throw mattresses because they make me sick. open windows on good days. Throw away the curtains or wash them if they can be washed. I replaced all curtains with washable ones. I vacuum every other day to collect the spores. I have everything in hardwood except the runner. I replaced it. Use this regularly while cleaning as it will help you stay indoors during and after renovations. This is a gradual process that requires you to tackle one room at a time.
