The "leather" trim is actually vinyl with a leather back. I have therefore returned the item. Vinyl does not look, wear or tarnish like leather. Other than that, it looks like a pretty solid backpack with some great features. The straps are adjustable, but it takes a little longer because the cotton straps offer more resistance to the buckles. Ideally, these straps should be made of nylon or polyester for a faster fitting process. The hanging loop at the top is way too big (unless you want to hang it on a doorknob). So if you like vinyl finishes, I don't think you will be disappointed.
