UPDATE: Just used it on some videos. I had distortion on my mic the first time, although the levels were normal. I assumed the microphone in the toilet was where it happened. On the next recording, I moved the microphone a bit and observed the volume of my speech. This time the sound was clear. I like the sound and I really haven't done much in the post. Original post: I just received the Comica BoomX-D2 and did a quick test with it. The sound quality, at least for my voice, is very good. The noise level is low. The value for money is really good. You get 2 wireless transmitters and a receiver. Transmitters have a built-in microphone and lav. The kit includes cables for cameras and another for smartphones. Also included is an attenuator cable for cameras where the input level is too high. The devices arrived about 80% charged, which is nice. They are a direct competitor to the Rode Go wireless system. The Rode system costs about $199 per transmitter and doesn't include a microphone. To buy 2 Rode systems with Lava I would have to spend about double the cost of the Comica system. My first impressions of the Comica BoomX-D2 are very positive and it is more than worth the money.
