We used this to convert my Dell 2710 non-VESA (stand only) all in one computer as I wanted it over my bed (I'm bedridden so this is my home office). We removed the stand and plate and drilled appropriate holes in the original plate that the table stand attaches to. In one go we found the right assembly lever (strictly by weight) and processed the small parts, the installation only took about 10 minutes. The back cover needed about 3/8" more hole right at the bottom of the existing cutout to close completely, so my husband just filed the edge down and installed a VESA compatible computer! Finally, we connected two additional portable hard drives. Drives I use for files and backups.
