Gentle, exfoliating, odorless water-like toner

Don't be fooled by the apparent simplicity of this water-like toner. It's a gentle, colorless, fragrance-free yet moisturizing, easily exfoliating toner with a good formula. Suitable for all skin types; without alcohol, without witch hazel, without essential oils, without dyes, without fragrances, absorbs quickly and does not irritate. Aloe is the first ingredient. Aromatica Aloe Hy-Effective Toner 5% HA 2% PHA comes suitably packaged in a sturdy, small, 6.76 ounce clear plastic bottle with a pouring cap. The retail price is a reasonable $24. The toner is positioned as a mildly exfoliating (PHA) and moisturizing (hyaluronic acid) product. I've had the opportunity to use this toner with a companion 40% HA serum and have thoroughly enjoyed the use and effectiveness of both. The toner can be used morning and night to gently exfoliate and maintain hydration. After cleansing, put some liquid in your palms or a cotton pad and apply. Apply remaining serums, treatments and moisturizers. sun protection factor in the morning. I'm in my 40's with sensitive combination acne prone skin and I find this product gentle and suitable for my needs. PHAs, or polyhydroxy acids (technically AHAs), are generally safe for all skin types, especially those with oily and acne-prone skin. Molecularly, PHAs are larger in structure, so they don't penetrate the skin as deeply as other types of chemical peels, making them gentler to use. PHAs are also considered humectants, helping to retain moisture in the skin. Combine this with the hyaluronic acid found in this toner and you have a great combination. If you're using PHA or a new exfoliant, you should review your other skin care products (like cleansers, toners, essences, etc.) and evaluate AHAs, BHAs, and other active ingredients you may be using as well. Not all active ingredients or vitamins with a high proportion of vitamin C, A and their derivatives (e.g. retinol) can be combined well in the same morning or evening program. Mixing certain products can increase the likelihood of irritation, cause excessive peeling, change the pH, or render one or both products inert. In addition, you do not need to apply a large amount of active ingredients in one operation. This eventually leads to a breakdown of the moisture or acid barrier, resulting in excess oil, dryness, spots, sensitivity, rashes, redness, acne, etc. Assess your needs and make adjustments accordingly. Hyaluronic acid occurs naturally between collagen bundles in the skin. skin, provides moisture and elasticity. HA, along with collagen and elastin, decreases with age, resulting in a sallow, less plump complexion. HA is ubiquitous and found in most moisturizing skin care products. You don't have to use an expensive high-availability system to reap the benefits. It is important to note that topical application and results from GC are temporary. They do not stimulate or replace lost blood sugar in the long run. Skin needs to be hydrated when using HA-targeted skincare products to amplify the benefits. Yes, even if you have oily or acne-prone skin. You should apply a moisturizer when using toners, essences, serums, or sheet masks that target hyaluronic acid. Neglecting this can aggravate dry, scaly, or dehydrated skin due to how HA works. You should read about hyaluronic acid in relation to transepidermal water loss and its use in wet and dry environments. HA is non-comedogenic and suitable for all skin types, including acne-prone and sensitive skin. In most cases, it will be listed as sodium hyaluronate on the ingredients list. It's a form of hyaluronic acid and a water-soluble salt that holds up to 1,000 times its weight in water. Sodium hyaluronate (HA) can penetrate deeper layers of the skin. Here it attracts moisture, draws in moisture and reduces inflammation. If the outer layer of skin remains dry and you neglect to apply a moisturizer over an HA product, it can reduce or counteract production.
