Review on Coyote Men's Shoes - 5 11 Ranger Tactical Men's Footwear by Dave Hess

I always go shopping and GovX had a better deal on these shoes than Walmart - sorry Jeff. I've bought a lot from 5.11 and I love their products. This shoe is well made and offers many features. There's always a size issue with them - more on that later. First to the pros. The construction is solid, the shoes are well made. The combination of ripstop nylon, polymer mesh and nubuck creates an attractive and lightweight shoe. Large toe box and good heel hold - even without a lace lock. Many 5.11 shoes have an 8mm heel-to-toe drop and this is one of them. Why is it important? I'm guessing it isn't, but it makes your stance natural in Hard Weavers and CQB's "neutral" stance. The shoe also has a pretty decent insole. In addition, they are incredibly light. I wore them to school for a few days. I'm a teacher and I'm on my feet all day. Thursday and Friday were busy days and this shoe was comfortable as I worked hard during the day. I also did a few miles on the elliptical and my legs felt great. The tread pattern is amazing and holds up well in wet terrain. The 5.11 includes mesh protection on the toes that works really well. They also have a reinforced tip. Now the measurements. 5.11 just doesn't do it very well. I've ordered from there before and had problems. I wanted to order a size up, but ended up going half a size up and wider. They fit perfectly. Save the packaging just in case, but now I order half or full sizes for shoes. Advantages? Well made, light weight, good grip. They look good and like my other 5.11 sneakers and shoes are great for everyday use. minuses? Size, which when you are planning, doesn't matter. But the 5.11 could fit the shoe size just as well as any.
