Review on πŸš— Enhance Vehicle Performance with TOYOTA Genuine 89467-48011 Air and Fuel Ratio Sensor by Ben Almasri

Revainrating 1 out of 5

This doesn't work on my Lexus 2000 RX300 - I get the 'Check Engine' light on.

In the beginning my Lexus 2000 RX300 had no problem with "Check Engine" output. I installed, the car drove about 15 miles, then the check engine light came on, the gas mileage was worse than before. I went back to check the label on the sensor and made sure it was a Denso made Toyota sensor and the part number was correct - according to the Lexus dealer. Then I remove the new one (I just bought it) and install the original one (18 years old). alt) The air/fuel ratio sensor is back and working fine, the "Check Engine" light hasn't come on since, but the gas mileage was frowned upon, then I restarted the system by pulling the wire Removed (both positive and negative) from the battery, increased gas mileage by about 3 mpg. Note that after I removed the air/fuel ratio sensor (new sensor I just bought) from the car, I found a lot of black dirt (powder) around the tip of the air/fuel ratio sensor inspect and see as I think why the "Check Engine" is lit. I check the original 18 year old air/fuel ratio sensor, it is very clean. I call the supplier who sells this product through Revain to get a returns label to exchange for a new one, but I'm not getting one. A few weeks later I call Revain and Revain refunds my money. I'm very happy with how Revane is handling it. That pleases the customer. One final note: I still don't understand why the new air/fuel ratio sensor gave me the 'Check Engine' light and should improve fuel economy, but it doesn't. I want to buy a new one from a Lexus dealer to check this out and see what happens but it costs over $300 and
