This is a good update to my OEM lights in terms of brightness and overall appearance. Everything worked and the exchange was just plug and play. Neat trailer. Holds up 5 stars as long as moisture doesn't accumulate or the LEDs don't burn out within a year. with your thumb and then pull out the truck side wiring harness (plug connection) with a slight jerk. Be sure to push the new harness connector in firmly until you hear a click and make sure you can't pull it out with a slight jerk. Also, when removing the old taillight assembly, all you have to do is remove the two inner pieces of metal. Screws - the long outer screws only hold the plastic piece to the main light assembly and do not secure the tail light to your truck. Don't bother trying to solve them. The external screws are already installed in the new device. However, do yourself a favor and make sure they fit well. Test everything right away to make sure everything is working properly. I think you'll like the extra brightness.
