***NEW REVIEW 11/05/2021: Like the proud owner of a legitimate FreeB backpack purchased from the same seller (Laptop Home) a few years ago, I can say with absolute certainty that the bag I received today is a counterfeit copy of a product I purchased in 2019. this is indeed an impressive fake, but inferior materials, hasty/inconsistent construction and subtle differences from my real one prove to me that this is a fake without a doubt. I bought this as a gift and I'm super glad I sent it to myself and not directly to my boyfriend. It's fake and I want my money back. Another difference anticipating the real versus the false; My first purchase (legal item) came in a large box so it lay flat and kept its shape, while my second purchase (counterfeit item) was folded in half and pressed into a plastic bag for shipping. I don't know what changed for this seller from 2019 to 2021 but this is unacceptable and needs to be addressed. ----- ------------Update 07/09/2020: After a year of travel, planes, road trips, cruises, rainstorms, snow in Colorado and Texas - climate change, hiking, gaming sessions and much more more "you, what have you done?!" moments when this backpack beast is still in near-perfect condition. It has lasted me a year and there are no scratches or visible damage and the zippers only needed popping, I remember they were stuck for a month. or 2, but over time they weakened. The capacity is huge, more than enough for my Asus ROG JL 751 laptop, cables, peripherals, headphones, an extra pair of shoes, a change of clothes, external hard drives and more. I've stuffed it full of tech and essential travel gear and it's still holding up incredibly well. The thick hip belt with pocket took a little getting used to, but after pushing it to its maximum weight limit a few times on airplanes I have to say it was a great feature and extremely useful for extended wear. I also think it's worth mentioning that it's nice to be able to pull heavy loads with just the shoulder straps and buckle the lap belt behind me, even if I don't feel like using the lap belt. The rain cover is easy to use, well made and amazingly effective at holding all liquids in varying degrees of rain from drizzle to heavy rain. It surrounds the entire bag and almost sucks the straps in even when I'm carrying the bag. The only feature of this case that I have never used is an external USB port for external batteries. I don't use it so I can't see that part of this bag. I found it much easier to put my power bank in one of the 2 side pockets or the hidden back pocket because I don't have to take my backpack off to charge my devices on the go. Overall, I totally agree with this product for its size and many features.
