I was looking for a microphone that could effectively pick up my voice while playing guitar. ZealSound's mic did the job, although I had to lift it up to be closer to my mouth (buying an extension/mic stand would be a good idea). The best thing about buying this mic is that it requires no assembly and is a direct connect device. The USB port allows you to easily connect to your laptop (Windows/Mac) as well as your phone (the package comes with a Type-C OTG connector, although you'll need a multi-port adapter to do that to power the microphone when connected to your phone). The noise canceling knob works very well, helping you record music while keeping your voice clear at all times - great for Youtube video uploads and gaming. In the video uploaded with this review, my washing machine kept running in the background, but the mic did a pretty good job of canceling out that noise and capturing what was meant to be filmed. Overall, this is a pretty decent mic that will surely handle your podcasting/downloading needs.
