Several times a month I bought a large and then a medium for business. Both jackets are flared at the bottom, so this is a designer piece and this is not visible in the model's photo as it is unbuttoned. At 5ft 5in and 140lbs, with broad shoulders, medium suited me better than large. Shoulders stretch when you cross your arms in front of you, but again that's not uncommon for me, and how often do you actually do that ;), so I recommend ordering 2 sizes and choosing the best one, as size ratings are everywhere the map. The back of the jacket has a seam down the middle. The checkered "match" on the back of the Large is almost non-existent, making it look cheap; Med is much, much better: quality control. During the third med fitting, the transparent button on the inside (to close the double breasts) fell off: quality control again. The plaid I received is exactly like the one pictured: black, blue and subtle yellow/gold - no cheeky orange stripes here and I don't know what this reviewer got! Disclaimer: I only tried the jacket on for sizing and have not yet worn it to work. In terms of price, it's worth trying it out at least at my next business meeting in the new year. For your health!
