I ordered them to light up a loom. They are mounted on a lock for a better view of the carvings and such. Two of these were glued to freshly cleaned, sealed wood. One stayed in place, the other didn't. When it fell off, a strip of metal fell off, part of the sticky squares remained on the machine, part came off along with the strip. But the metal itself is bent. I've kept trying to replace it but it refuses to stay due to its curved shape. If it was that easy to just buy new tape, it wouldn't be a big deal. Now I need to figure out how to replace that piece of metal or buy a whole new light fixture. If I have to buy a new lamp, I will not buy this again. Things happen, but the problem is that the metal part was so cheap it bent like that.
