Review on Mio Slice Heart Rate Monitor - Navy - Small by Chia-pin Lin ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Perfect product for any user!

The PAI turned out to be a very helpful tool since you can actually feel the difference between the burden on the body and the amount of steps, and now I can see it all on the charts. In general, the device exceeded all expectations, and you won't get bored easily. Its benefits I bought it largely to replace the chest sensor that I used with a smartphone as a heart rate monitor for running and skiing. I am completely delighted with the outcome; there are no missed pulses, no leaps in the graphs that may suggest improper heart rate monitor operation, and most importantly, there is no chest sensor that would have been quite inconvenient. During training, when I watched the pulse on the monitor, I observed a small amount of delay—just a few seconds—in the data during sudden accelerations. In general, the method of taking the pulse from the hand is quite effective, and following Mio all the top sports watch manufacturers started using it. Although not yet russified, the application is straightforward and understandable. Also, I examined the tightness; everything is in place. The display going on as your hand turns, as well as receiving notifications from your smartphone, is a nice bonus and highly practical. Cons: You must fasten the strap tightly for accurate readings; at first, this was unusual, and the clip is not the most practical tool for this. It's unfortunate that the precise PAI calculation algorithm is not published; it would be fascinating.
