I plugged this adapter in, plugged it in and listened - easy! Unfortunately, the audio is just a bit flat and metallic no matter how much I turn the phone volume up and down, radio volume up and down, etc. At the best setting (about 60% phone volume, then car radio), the quality of the audio is very similar to an old cassette (hmmm. I wonder why.). For the price, it's definitely worth the price. In hindsight, I'm wondering a little if it was worth it for me to spend a few more euros to buy the Bluetooth version, but this one is more than good - I'll keep it as long as I have an old machine with it have a cassette player.
