After over 15 years my inexpensive leather mini wallet with zip coin compartment finally started to fall apart, I bought this wallet in the hope that it would be a suitable replacement. It turns out to be perfect for putting in my small purse as hoped, but the material it's made of is so hard that it's difficult to get money, especially coins, out of it. The wallet also appears to have been made incorrectly. Actually upside down, with a paper money slot on the wrong side (left side). Strange because most people are right-handed. It works when I remember to open it upside down, with the zipped coin compartment down (and zipped of course). What adds to my feeling that the wallet is sewn incorrectly is where the card slots are located. If you open it upside down with the coin slot down, the card slots are positioned where I think they should be. If you open it right side up, the card slots will face down, so unless it was made of such a hard material, cards could fall out. The slot for your driver's license is also in the wrong place. Again, I could be wrong as I base this observation on my old 15 year old wallet. As far as that goes, it's suitable for my use now, being aware of its odd setup as well as the stiffness. Maybe it will loosen up a bit over time, time will tell, but as it's so hard to find a wallet of this size that's decently made for the price, despite the stiffness of the material and the odd slot placement, I'm keeping it you.
