If you buy this USB A Female to USB A Female adapter to connect two devices, it WILL NOT WORK. I bought it to connect two tablets and it doesn't work. Using my multimeter I checked the pin and found it didn't cross the pins. This is a direct gender adapter. Pins: 1 to 1, 2 to 2, 3 to 3, and 4 to 4. To connect two devices together, you need an adapter that crosses pins: 1 to 4, 2 to 3, 3 to 2, and 4 to 1 This will only work for very specific chassis connections, not device-to-device connections, which is what most people are looking for.
