So I bought a total of 4 sets of these gates, 8 gates in total. I've had most of them for about a week now, I received the last pair yesterday. I purposely only used 1 set to run it through the rings and make sure the other 3 sets were worth it. The packaging it comes in is huge! Flat but HUGE. They arrive in a carry case and "pop" out easily. Plastic posts that have already been attached are ideal for securing the gate. Won't move in wind or bumps. The instructions are pretty helpful, but as the manual says, you can practice folding a few times to get the hang of it before hitting the field. Once you get this, you'll get this, and after that, picking them up will be a breeze. Seriously, setting up and setting up the track is just as easy as it is with these gates. I mostly fly 3" and 4" race quads, but I also have a 5" race quad that snaps. a few days, and they crashed like a champ, with virtually no marks on the gate. Eventually I decided to run a number of packages on 5' It definitely left some marks/damage but I'm surprised how well they held up There are some marks and minor tears from a direct hit which caused the prop to move almost spinning at full throttle! I can accept that. Thought I broke something sure in a couple of falls lol. Will look for better tape in the future to hide the damage but overall I think this is the best value is that I have found so far. For solo pilots or those flying in small groups this should be great. Group but will require some maintenance to repair any cracks that appear I think in that sense they should serve me well! I am with my ge bought food satisfied!
