I really like this vest. It's light and not too thick, which is what I wanted. In terms of quality, it's understandable that this isn't an expensive garment, but it's still better than I expected for the price. The zipper (albeit large, clumsy) is quite strong. And the clasps are metal, which I really like. Judging by the photo, they are made of plastic. The collar has a nice height, closes the neck without being intrusive. And you can fold it easily if you like. This is a very comfortable material, it is a pleasure to wear. I wouldn't expect it to keep you warm in extreme cold. It is not stuffed like a pillow. The fit is very good for me. It doesn't save much waste (a little, but not much), which is my only real complaint. But it's such a small detail. If you pay attention to the dimension grid and take measurements, then everything should fit. For example, the widest part of my hips is 41 inches. I bought a medium size (I usually wear a large or XL) which measures 44 inches at the bottom. It sits flat on my hips without constricting. So measure yourself, leave a few inches for movement and coat thickness, and you'll be fine. I am very satisfied with this vest in this price range. I could probably find something that suited my curvature a little better, but probably not without trying it on first and paying significantly more. Overall I think this vest is good value for money.
