A HUGE squid that flies by itself! Who wouldn't like it? My wife bought this kite for our vacation to the Oregon beaches. I was quite skeptical at first and questioned the original purchase price. However, everything changed when we picked this hippo off the ground. While the initial setup looks intimidating, it was actually very simple and straightforward. A simple pull on the rope and this kid was airborne in an instant. Pretty quickly I wrapped nearly 1,000 feet of kite rope and this cephalopod was hovering over the beach. The control requires a minimum of effort. Hold the line and that's pretty much it. This kite also commands attention and we had many people taking photos and standing in awe of such a monstrous eight-armed clam flying overhead!
