Brilliant! Be sure to buy a timer.

This light is amazing. Just unbelievable. I had another 55 gallon LED strip that I really liked. I was disappointed when it recently died after only a year of use, but what are you going to do, right? I decided to try this Beamswork after some research. Now I'm glad my old light is dead! This light is much brighter, it's not even a comparison. Mixing reds and greens with white really makes the light look more natural. The moon setting is surprisingly bright but dark blue. I also bought a timer that works surprisingly well. A little tip: If you don't use the timer, all LEDs are used in the "normal" setting, i.e. white, red, green and blue (actinic). This creates a beautiful and bright light that highlights the color of your fish and decorations. However, the light is a bit cool and not entirely natural. Whether you prefer that is a matter of taste. When using a timer, set the normal timer separately from the moon timer. In other words, if you set a timer to turn off the moonlight when the regular light comes on, you have a very natural red, green, and white light without the blue actinic light. Personally, I set them to overlap for a few hours in the morning and evening so I have multiple phases throughout the day, not just day and night. It gives the feeling of morning, day, evening and night. Oh and my plants are doing great. Control the water parameters because with so much light you can get a lot of algal blooms if you degrade the water quality. Algae are generally considered unsightly, but they are very beneficial for your aquarium. I personally grow algae in the back of the tank. I benefit from algae, and since they grew on the back, that's where they mostly grow. I don't have much algae growth on the side or front because it's already established on the back. Something like the concept of an algae scrubber. Some people like the way it looks. Others don't like it. I love it and it's my tank lol that's how I do it. Hope this all helps.
