Although $700 for a dive light seems ridiculously expensive even by my standards. (I'm a pro and use this flashlight every day). As soon as I saw this light in action underwater I was hooked. ADVANTAGES: The flashlight does not need to be opened to charge. You simply connect the flashlight to the charger at the end of the dive. This is a sealed block. Opening and closing dive lights and making sure the o-ring is free of dirt and hair has cost me far too many dive lights over the years. It requires guesswork. The performance settings are perfect. You can run at 600 lumens (still brighter than almost any dive light) and get amazing run times. With 1200 lumens of brightness in flood mode, you can light up an entire wall in a cave (it was a video light before it became a dive light). Find out how much energy the battery is holding so you can adjust the brightness when you have a long dive and need to make sure the light stays on for more than an hour. The display also shows how charged you are while charging. The charging time is short (less than 2 hours) Compact, fits in your hand or pocket. CONS: The price is high. If you had to write off the cost, you might also think this is your backup flashlight in car, camping, rafting, hiking. It is durable and built for harsh environments. Use it and never look back.
