The screw may loosen during use, but it does not prevent rotation even when tightened to the maximum torque with the supplied screwdriver. After the knob came loose, I secured them all with Locktite, simply dripping them into the hole before screwing. It works out. The Locktite seal can be broken with sufficient force.
