4.5 years later post-control. The dent came out about a week later. The chair is still a little wobbly but I wouldn't say it's gotten any worse from day one. In terms of stability, it's holding up well. My problem is that after about 4 years the vinyl started peeling off the seat. This was due to normal wear and tear (not a manufacturer fault) but I wish it could have lasted longer as the chair is otherwise fine. The cushion and everything else on the chair are in excellent condition. The seat just needs to be pulled up. Not sure if this is more cost effective compared to buying another. I also considered these DXRacer chairs as a replacement. But at $400, it should take me 15 years to reach the same value as when I bought this one. Since the DXRacer is made of faux leather like this chair, I doubt 15 years is reasonable. Maybe this executive chair is expensive after all. I do not know. I had problems with the Boss chairs I bought. I bought b8106 and had to change it 4 times due to a manufacturing defect. Then I foolishly go out and buy another Boss chair hoping things will get better. Mine arrived from shipping with a dent in the cushion from the base being pressed hard against it in the box. Don't know if it works or not after a few days of use. Also, there are loose rivets in the main bracket, so the chair wobbles a bit from side to side. Not sure if I should keep it or exchange it for another week+. Overall the Boss chairs look good but the quality sucks.
