TLDR; These cables are defective and unusable. You get what you pay for - cheap HDMI cables are a poor substitute for the original. I didn't even know you could ruin HDMI cables until I got them, but apparently you can. The first cable I used showed a bunch of static and weird colors (which is weird for a digital signal). I replaced it with an old HDMI cable and the picture was ok. I thought maybe just one of them was at fault, but I also noticed that my surround sound dropped out strangely. I swapped out some wires and banana terminals but the problem hasn't gone away. It turned out that the HDMI cable, that I connected the ARC to was also defective, resulting in weird audio dropouts. I replaced it again with the old cable and everything was fine. I won't test the last three as those cables are a waste of time and money.
