Short background. One of these boxes of cat food sat unopened in the garage for about 2 weeks. There was a terrible smell coming from the room where we were storing food, kitty litter, etc. We assumed it was the smell of a dead mouse. We had no idea where exactly the smell was coming from, so we assumed the mouse was hiding in the garage wall over the ship's side. Yes, we broke through the wall. There is nothing. It wasn't until we opened the box of cat food that we discovered where that awful stench was coming from. One of the cans was open and there were worms, it was a goo of mucus and the smell was unlike anything we had ever smelled. I assumed this was an isolated case, something happened at the factory. Pate appears and as soon as I open the box of Revane I see the same smell of death. I don't know where in the chain this could have happened, but Revane must have smelled that box of groceries before it was shipped. Once I can see it as a mistake, but now twice and something is really wrong. And it's on Purina.
