They're good for what they are and produce great bass. But they sound best such that they sometimes sound "marked" or blown out at low frequencies, especially if you have the bass settings set to maximum when switching to them from the EQ. If you tweak your EQ/Tone settings carefully you can tame them and they will actually reproduce the low frequencies fairly decently and the sub frequencies quite well if you EQ them carefully. The mids are quite clear, if a bit deeper, and the high-frequency reproduction is also acceptable with the same qualities as in the mids. I can't complain about any of these aspects as the end result is that the overall listening experience is not tiring, even during prolonged listening sessions at high volumes. All in all, I can't complain about these prices.
