There are three drawbacks associated with these headphones: 1. "Microphone self-test": if you are wearing headphones while talking on the phone, you will always be able to hear your own voice as well as everything else around you (it is IMPOSSIBLE to turn it off), which can be very annoying. This feature cannot be disabled, not even through the use of paid software. 2. JBL will be significantly more audible (although you can ride the subway in these headphones, but sometimes you want it louder) 3. An excessive number of control buttons IMO - odd. For instance, I do not make use of them. Change the song on the phone. Volume - and so on up to the highest possible level. And the only way to accept or decline a call is through the phone itself. There are undoubtedly a lot of functions, but it's unlikely that you'll make use of them all. It makes it more of a negative. because I rarely click the on/off button and instead press any other button. Now, onto the positives: I agree with the rest of it! The sound is really stunning (especially when compared to the JBL 450BT), they have a wonderful fit, the ears do not become wet, there is no active noise reduction (which is excellent), and the charge is outstanding. Summing up . If I knew their benefits and drawbacks after using them for two weeks, I would still use them about 80 percent of the time. The "microphone self-test" is another thing that irritates me.
