These are my second Instinct, I owned the first one for about six months and was quite satisfied, these are already Tactical. Major improvement: charging from solar / artificial light, oxygen sensor, otherwise practically unchanged from the first generation. My usage profile: 5-6 strength and cardio workouts per week, a lot of hiking, some mountaineering. Accurately counts steps / calories if you choose the right program; they can identify the activity themselves, but it is better to help, the results will be more accurate. The pedometer is clear - gives an error of 150 meters per 15 km in comparison with other Garmins (Vivoactive 4s). From the interesting: they suggest if the resting pulse goes off scale (you need to worry less), blood oxygen saturation (hello, covid), they warn about a storm / bad weather (by pressure drop). On the route, all the necessary parameters are recorded: distance, pace, descent / ascent, track and a bunch of other things. Upload all data to the Garmin Connect app, where you can study in detail all the collected data about everything that happens to the body during the day. A few words about the battery: 18 days on a single charge, 24/7 on the arm, with indoor training every other day, two 2-hour trekking walks (GPS on) and about 10 hours of solar charging per day with partly cloudy (not every day , I put it on the windowsill a couple of times to see how much charge they absorb, it turns out about 3-4% in five hours, it will be much better outdoors in clear weather). Oh, well, write questions if you have any. The watch is worth the money.
