I bought this cable because the online store where I just bought the powered subwoofers told me I needed 4-wire 18 AWG cables. These are the worst cables ever. I have old 4 wire cables I bought mono price 5-10 years ago that I still have and they are great. You can tell the difference. they were so strong, so well made. These cables that I just ordered and received are paper thin. They really are crap. Do not buy. This is the worst mistake you will make if you have to wall mount. I installed these cables in the wall this morning. The cables are so poorly made that I had to come back here to see what other buyers had to say about them. Thank goodness I read the reviews. Now I need to run some better wire for my subwoofers before my contractor closes the walls. It must be another company that sells Monoprice branded cables on Revain. In 20 years of ordering from Monoprice, this is the first time I have encountered such a bad product. And I always order direct from Monoprice. Due to time constraints I had to order them from Revain to get 2 day delivery. I have to wonder if these cables are from the real Monoprice company or the Revain brand.
