Premium Blue Light Blocking Screen Protector

So far, so good. I ordered this for the iPad Mini 5 as it is often used for late night ebook reading and so the blue blocking properties are very important. A few notes: * It's not glass. It is semi-rigid with a slightly matte finish that is comfortable to read.* Interesting installation method. It has 3 screen protector strips that run vertically across the back of the screen protector. You peel off the middle one, bend the protective sheet slightly vertically and install it on the iPad by aligning it with the speaker hole and the home button. Then take off one side and leave it on the screen, and then do the same on the opposite side. First off, all was said and done, it snapped into place fairly easily and there were no blisters. * A screen protector probably won't offer the same screen protection as glass, but definitely more than softer rubber-like screen protectors. The main benefit is obviously the blue light filtering.* It doesn't have a flashy color, which is nice. I've seen cheaper models with a weird yellow tint that's off-putting. This thing is pricey compared to those claiming to be similar, but you get what you pay for when it claims blue light filtering like this. does. I went to their website and looked at the results of independent tests - something the cheaper ones just don't offer. Overall it's worth the money - time will tell how well it performs with blue light filtering, but I'm optimistic.
