On the RFID data blocking technology in wallets and the need for it: Less than one percent of all credit cards currently contain RFID technology. The technologies that prevent RFID data theft appear to be very unevenly effective and fail over time. Such wireless data theft remains rare, and caution and common sense remain the most effective means of prevention. Eventually, RFID technology will go out of fashion, being replaced by wireless payments through mobile devices and services like Apple Pay. The bottom line is that a wallet can be safe if you are careful. Although this wallet is just a wallet, it is attractive. By all accounts it's made out of real leather and is described as "ultra-premium museum leather" nothing less. I have no idea where this will lead, but as a marketing tool it will probably work. I can only judge the wallet I'm holding in my hand. It's made of attractive brown leather, it's quite soft and smells like leather, it has a bill compartment and eight credit card slots, and a nice (and simple) design. My only comment is that the leather feels a little thin so I'm wondering about its durability over time given the inevitable constant use of it. I also find this purse to be both functional and decorative.
