Review on Forney 57009 Replacement Hardened 4 Inch by Chris Norman

Shade 9 works great for outdoor welding in bright sunlight, especially if you have tired eyes after 21 years of welding/fabrication. I also like the fact that this is a durable glass filter lens. I understand that plastic lenses are lighter and very popular these days, but for "old school" folks, glass simply can't be beat in terms of clarity and durability (scratch resistance, etc.). Of course, you must use a clear lens cap to protect your lens, whether it's plastic or glass.
