Review on πŸ”© Tim Holtz Idea-ology Hitch Fasteners: 12 Assorted Antique Fasteners, TH92731 by Wendy Rodriguez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I love using them as cream puffs on matchbox dressers.

I love using these as little "drawers" for 3D paper painting projects made with matchboxes. Keep in mind that there are 5 of each of 3 different finishes in a pack (antique brass, silver and regular silver I think). So if you are working on a large project with more than 5 drawers and want them all to match, you will need to buy more packs. So for example if you are making a mini dresser with 3 drawers stacked on top of each other you can easily get away with a pack and have 3 drawers with these fasteners, they all fit together. In my case I need 12 matching fasteners so I had to buy 3 packs which is ok the price is very affordable and I will have enough to make 2 more of the same project with different fasteners. However, if your project looks very "grungy", I'm sure it will actually look great with mixed surfaces in a project. Just a matter of personal preference. Just thought I'd mention all of this in case you've never bought them and it's not clear from the photo or description. It's just a bit unfortunate that sometimes Revain only offers these items as add-on items at a lower price, requiring you to purchase at least $25 worth of Revain-supplied and sold items before you can add them to your order! Yes. If something on your wishlist is available to pre-order, you can add it to your cart when it shows as "Optional" and your pre-order value will count towards a minimum of $25.00. However, your payment method will not be charged until the item has shipped. In short, if you're buying something else you already need, wait to buy and stock up! The quality is excellent. I have used them with medium weight chipboard and they fit perfectly. I hope they keep doing this for a long time, this is one of my favorite "decorations" designed by Tim Holtz.
