Raycom is a good entry-level camera system, especially at a low price. It stores a significant amount of video (not audio), making it easy to review previous days. The quality of the camera is good and it is important to position it correctly to avoid as much sunlight as possible, which can make people or objects appear dark. Night vision also works well at close range, but a larger field of view requires a backlight. Face detection only worked for me in close-ups, but motion detection usually detected most of the movement in an area. The tech support is your best assistant in learning how to use the system as they are always answering. These cameras also have an app that allows you to view the cameras on your computer, tablet or phone. All in all, at a relatively low price compared to other camera systems, Raycom cameras strive to offer everything you need for your security.
