Bought and put in my insect bag that I keep at home in optimal storage conditions. I looked through the bag and saw that this rope had come loose. It was still in its original adhesive paper packaging and was never used. No liquids were spilled on him and he was in no way near sharp objects. It was carefully packed in my go bag for emergencies. Now it is useless and dangerous! I bought this in 2015 so it wouldn't sit in my bag long enough to go bad. Who has ever heard of ropes breaking accidentally. There must have been production problems. Very very unsatisfied with the quality. Buyer beware
