The 'two-layer' version is different and appears to be made from a mid-weight cotton/poly blend. It creases easily and there are no cleaning instructions on the tag, but I washed it in cold water and hung it to dry and it was fine! It doesn't have an elasticated waist but has a zip and button closure. I increased the size and the waist is a bit big but I can easily move the button to accommodate it. In general I'm happy with the skirt for the price, it's a cute style! Sits just below my knees and I'm 5'8".
