I rolled the dice and when I first ordered this hair trimmer on 01/27/19 I got a round connector version. This is the version that other reviews are complaining about. During the week I had problems. It started when I couldn't turn it off, the button wouldn't turn off the device which was annoying to say the least. This version comes with a plastic insert that you can put in the charging plug that turns off the switch and that was the only way to turn it off. I somehow managed to turn it off, but the device didn't light up while charging, it kept flickering, and when I moved it, it kept glowing for a second or two. The jack was raised. I called Revain and they sent me a new unit the next day (great service!). This one had a very different fork, it's a big square fork that looks like it will hold up much better. So far no problems. The device itself makes a solid impression. However, after dismantling the old faulty assembly, there is a heavy duty stainless bushing on the outside. Inside is cheap plastic without a seal. Don't get wet! He will quickly go inside and get to the control panel. This device cannot be submerged in water. I'm glad I took it apart to see that it really isn't waterproof. This device does not claim to be waterproof, I am simply pointing out the proven fact that this is not a waterproof device. The device comes with a variety of attachments and is easy to use. I've used it (old and new devices combined) about a dozen times and it does the job. I will let you know if I have any trouble replacing the block.
