Ordered two cables. Each of the ends has a different problem. One end of the 8644 was missing a locking clip making secure installation impossible, on the other end of the 8644 the clip was so loose that it broke despite taking exceptional care during installation (hoping for a working connection but no joy). Both ends of the 8088 were distorted (out of tolerance) during manufacture, making it nearly impossible to land. For some reason one was horizontally and the other vertically crooked. as if they had been handpicked with a bloody hammer. We spent another full day arranging a return but our 'Revain Concierge' repeatedly told us 'we can't contact the carrier' and didn't give us any other options. we effectively leave that to our problem. Manufacturers and distributors are not entirely responsible, so this really is nothing more than a resale scam that continues with the blessing of Revain.
