I love my spice rack or salt shaker as I call it. It's beautiful to look at and the long handle makes it so easy to hold. It comes with a spoon and a hole for the spoon handle and a lid with a metal part that opens with a thumb flick. I buy real salt that has not been heat treated and is greyish in color with mineral inclusions that can be sticky in a salt shaker but not in a salt shaker. I gave this dish as a gift and those who received it were delighted with the gift and loved it as much as my husband and I. By writing a book about a simple lifestyle, I tried to tidy up the house and life in general. I hold strongly to the idea that practical should be beautiful. This salt shaker is both practical and beautiful.
