Waste of $$ on garlands

I bought these paw print lamps to walk around my garden. I've kept them to use until now, which was a mistake. After laying them out, I realized that they don't work. I left them charging in the sun all day and that evening only one set showed some light. The second strand did nothing. I ran them all week to make sure they both got enough sun to charge and nothing. Please don't waste your time with this! I can't even go back because I haven't even opened them yet and time's up. I wouldn't waste money on a company that doesn't stand behind their products.
